Bug in Indian Democracy?

India is the largest and best example of democracy. You can create your own party with new ideology. You don't have queens and kings above the parliament even for formality. There is no history of Military dictatorship. Our democracy has its share of problems too, and one of them is with basic fundamental of democracy where people elect their representative to lead them. How many Indians would have voted for Devegouda to become prime minister? How many from Karnataka would have voted for his Son to be chief minister? These two achieved these by using the bugs of luck and manipulation in the democracy. How to fix these?
